Calcium Researcher Presents Data on Lane Labs Ingredient

PHOENIX--Takuo Fujita, M.D., presented data at two recent events about AAA Ca, marketed under the trade name AdvaCal by Lane Labs(www.lanelabs.com). Fujita is the director of the Osteoporosis Foundation in Japan and founder of the Calcium Research Institute there.

Fujita presented data at the annual meeting of the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, held in Phoenix and reported that patients receiving AAA Ca had a zero-fracture rate and significantly reduced cervical spondylosis over a 27-month study. During the second event, Vitamin Shoppe and Lane Labs co-sponsored a lecture in Allendale, N.J., in October, which featured Fujita discussing osteoporosis and included free bone mineral density screenings. More than 200 consumers, health care professionals and natural products retailers attended the seminar.
