LA MIRADA, Calif.Green Wave Ingredients (GWI) hosted its inaugural supplier conference in conjunction with the SupplySide West tradeshow in Las Vegas. The event included more than 80 attendees, including C-level executives from manufacturers such as Weisheng Kingdomway, InnoBio Limited, and Fufeng Group, in addition to distributors and customers. The cross-supply chain event's theme was "Better Together," which GWi said represents collaboration based on communication, transparency and trust.

 I believe in family, friendship and partnership, both from a personal and professional standpoint," said Jim Schultz, GWI CEO and founder. Schultz also introduced the California-based company's new company concept, vision and mission.

Keynote speakers for the event included Tony Xue, general manager from its Shanghai quality control facility, and Sherry Wang, GWI president. Emilie Wang, sales director of InnoBio also spoke about quality control.

GWI presented Century Foods International with its Customer of the Year award; Jinan Asia Pharmaceutical won the Supplier of the Year award.
