This time of crisis has undoubtedly bolstered the role of supplements as a route to wellness. In response industry brands and natural products retailers are focusing on the core values that have made this industry successful: education and relationship-building at retail, as well as transparency, sustainability and quality in supplements. The goal: to provide answers and comfort at a time when they are sorely needed.
To support these efforts this report, part of the Inside the Bottle program, is designed to advocate for transparency to ultimately empower consumers to take control of their health. Reaching more than 30,000 people across all industry segments in 2020, the program highlights best-in-class suppliers and brands to elevate best practices in transparency, stewardship and sustainability, science-based ingredients and cGMP compliance. The objective of this report is to help support retailers in crafting supplement industry stories through content, research and education-based events.
