ROUND ROCK, Texas--Premier Research Labs introduced stabilized, non-syntheticdihydrolipoic acid (DHLA) derived from a non-animal source via a new process(patent pending). DHLA, a form of alpha lipoic acid (ALA) previously unavailabledue to its unstable nature, has been shown to increase cellular energy andefficiency by raising levels of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), combating freeradicals, guarding against neurodegeneration, improving blood flow followingstroke and repairing DNA strands, according to the company. DHLA also providesall the benefits of commercial ALA without harmful side effects, the companysaid.
