WHITESTONE, N.Y.--MTC Industries (www.mtcindustries.com) announced that its CD-ROM, Sifu: Chinese Herbal E.Reference, Standard Edition, is now available. Spending five years developing the CD-ROM, MTC has added more than 450 herbs, 550 formulas and 1,600 patterns to the electronic database. The herbal information can be searched by Chinese, English, pharmaceutical or botanical name. Additional versions are planned for physicians, researchers, pharmacologists and consumers.
