NEW YORK--Morishita Jintan Co. Ltd. of Japan announced its seamless encapsulation technology designed to offer enteric coated probiotics. The spherical capsules are available in sizes ranging from less than 1 mm to 9 mm and produced with up to four individual layers of protective coatings. The technology permits custom formulations for shelf-stable probiotics that can deliver a minimum of label claim of live bacteria for up to two years after production date.
