NORTH TONAWANDA, N.Y.--International Filler Corp. and Fiber Sales & Development, two producers of fiber, powders, fillers and blended products, have merged operations. No financial details were disclosed.The new company, International Fiber Corp., is headquartered in North Tonawanda, N.Y., and will maintain its manufacturing facilities there, as well as in Nitro, W.Va.; Urbana, Ohio; and Temse, Belgium. John Pond, president and chief executive officer, said the combined resources would offer customers greater efficiency, quality and product quantity.Among the products available are Alpha-Cel brand cellulose, JustFiber dietary fiber and Solka-Floc brand powdered cellulose.
