MILWAUKEE, Wis.---Chr. Hansen's North American headquarters announced a reorganization of corporate structure and the Human Health Division. On a corporate level, the company has integrated customer service, product management and sales/marketing into a single, customer-focused group. A Technology Resource Group now includes product development, molecular biology, quality assurance, technical support, applications and a planned applications center. According to the company, "a streamlined Senior Management Team is now better connected to products and press. The new structure enables senior management to communicate, make decisions and act on those decisions more quickly."Meanwhile, the Human Health division, which supplies probiotics for dietary supplements, joined resources with the division providing coatings and excipients for tablets. The consolidated business group will be a more comprehensive supplier and offer a broader range of ingredients. The ingredients includeProbio-Tec® probiotics, Bifidobacterium BB-12™, L. acidophilus LA-5®,Nu-Tab directly compressible sugar, Cal-Carb directly compressible calcium, Dri-Klear clear tablet coating, and Chroma-Kote color coating systems.Chr.
