OXNARD, Calif.--Amoretti is now supplying isolated ellagic acid from the skin of the pomegranate. According to the company, it has used special processing technology to develop an extract with a golden color and sweetly aromatic taste. Amoretti ( is producing 40-percent, 60-percent and 80-percent concentrations of ellagic acid, which can be used in bars, chocolates and drink applications.
