The mark is designed to show that its line of unbranded amino acids and related compounds are produced using the same sophisticated technologies and high-quality standards as the companys branded ingredients.
Manufacturers choosing Kyowas commodity products can co-brand with the Kyowa Quality seal to let consumers know the highest-quality ingredients were used.

In 2006, Kyowa Hakko was honored for its amino acid technology by receiving the Frost & Sullivan Technology Innovation Award for the European amino acids market. The award recognized Kyowas technology for manufacturing amino acid dimers (di-peptides).
