PISCATAWAY, N.J.—Sabinsa Corp. announced its ForsLean® ingredient was formally registered with the Korean FDA as a Functional Health Food Ingredient (Permission No. 2009-47). In addition, the extensive safety and toxicology data submitted in the ForsLean dossier convinced the agency to allow the ingredient to be marketed with a specific health claim: “reduces body fat” at a dosage of 500 mg. Sabinsa is now working to finalize trademark registration of ForsLean in Korea.
