AALESUND, Norway EPAX AS received Friend of the Sea (FOS) certification for its sustainable marine sourcing and production methods; the supplier will soon offer its omega-3 oils with documented and traceable origin from sustainable fisheries. An accredited certifier verified EPAXs compliance to FOS criteria, including products not originating from overexploited stocks, fishing methods that dont impact the seabed, and using selective fishing methods. Traceability is audited onsite by FOS, while annual traceability surveillance is run on all purchase reports.
