KAISERAUGST, SwitzerlandThe European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) issued a positive opinion of DSM Nutritional Products' nature-identical zeaxanthin ingredient for food supplements. The EFSA panel decided an intake of DSM's Optisharp up to .75 mg/kg body weight daily does not raise safety concerns.
