Cilantro Recalled Over Salmonella Concerns

WASHINGTONSabor Farms LLC, based in Salinas, Calif., is recalling fresh cilantro because it may be contaminated with Salmonella, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Jan. 28.

The recall involves Natures Reward, Ocean Mist,  Tanimura & Antle and Queen Victoria brands of cilantro shipped to retail stores in multiple states beginning Jan. 14. The cilantro bunches do not contain identifying lot codes, and each bunch is sold with a distinctive, but general twist-tie for cilantro.
