LONG BEACH, Calif.BI Nutraceuticals will showcase products made from a selection of its most popular functional ingredient offerings at the IFT 2013 Expo in Chicago.

Attendees will be provided with product samples including carrot juice with ginger and green tea, and spicy gazpacho with Psyberloid, which is a psyllium fiber that boosts fiber content and provides texture. BI Nutraceuticals will also provide information about its more than 200 GRAS ingredients for functional food and beverage applications.

The company recently received SQF 2000 (Safe Quality Food) certification for its East Coast facility located in Islandia, N.Y. The certification ensures the company's ingredients have been produced, processed, prepared and handled according to the highest-quality standards across all levels of the supply chain.
