MINNEAPOLISCargill announced it received a no objection letter from FDA regarding GRAS status for arachidonic acid-rich oil (ARA), a nutritional ingredient for infant formula.

Our patent and regulatory efforts, along with the start-up of our new facility in Gedian, China, last year, provides a new, reliable option for our customers."
ARA, a component of mothers milk, is an omega-6 fatty acid that is essential for infant brain and vision development.
