AAC Offers Bioterrorism Registration Assistance

ROCKVILLE, Md.Under terms of the Bioterrorism Act, all foreign facilities that supply food/supplements must be registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) by Dec. 12 and must have a U.S. Agent. To assist foreign companies in meeting the requirements, AAC Consulting Group is now available to register foreign food facilities and remain available for regulatory consulting services. These AAC U.S. Agent services will facilitate entry of imported shipments into the United States.

According to AAC, for an annual fee, the organization will collect all registration information and register each facility with FDA. It will also update registration as changes occur, and will conduct annual reviews to ensure ongoing compliance.
