The US-China Health Products Association together with sponsors Glanbia Nutritionals and GNC will be hosting the annual “China International Sports Nutrition Industry Summit,” in Shanghai, China on Sept. 6. The all-day event will be held at the Regal International East Asia Hotel and boasts 11 industry experts to present on regulations, consumer trends, overview of China’s exploding fitness industry, cross border e-commerce, latest on ingredients and products as well as insights to China’s overall market environment. The summit is a great opportunity for networking with international and domestic industry leaders. Who should attend, finished product companies, ingredient manufacturers, distributors and anyone interested in this quickly expanding sector of the supplement industry.
China’s Sports Nutrition Industry is on the rise growing at approximately 20 percent per year. A good measure of the industry’s growth is to take a look at expo attendance. FIBO China is China’s premier expo for fitness and sports nutrition. Reed Sinopharm, organizers of FIBO China, said they have seen an almost three-fold increase of international sports nutrition brands attending this year’s expo compared with 2016. The association has a partnership with ReedSinopharm and will be hosting a FREE educational seminar aimed at increasing education about the ingredients and products used by a growing number of China’s athletes and fitness enthusiasts. The three-hour seminar will take place on Sept. 7, at FIBO China Expo Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Center of International Sourcing in Room 3M3. Presenting companies include Aker BioMarine, AlzChem, BodyLogix, Glanbia, GNC and TSI Group.
