TMRs Stamina Power Pak Named Choice Award Finalist

OGDEN, Utah—Informa Exhibitions named Trace Minerals Research (TMR)’s Non-GMO Electrolyte Stamina Power Pak – Mixed Berry flavor as a finalist for the 2014 SupplySide CPG (consumer product goods) Editor’s Choice Awards in the Sports Nutrition category. One winner in each category will be announced at SupplySide West 2014 during the awards reception, which will be on October 8 at the Mandalay Bay Resort in Las Vegas.

“This is a tremendous honor," said Matt Kilts, managing partner of TMR. “Power Paks are one of our top-selling products, so reformulating it without GMO contributing ingredients was important to us as well as to our customers. We are very proud of the non-GMO formula and this new flavor because it tastes every bit as good as all of our other flavors. Our customers are loving it."

Non-GMO Electrolyte Stamina Power Pak is an easy-to-fix high performance energy drink with no caffeine, artificial flavors, or artificial stimulants. It contains 1,200 mg of vitamin C per serving, which makes it good for both the summer and winter months to help maintain a healthy immune system. It contains essential electrolytes that are lost during exercise like potassium, magnesium, chloride and sodium, which all help maintain the body’s acid base balance for energy, vitality, and overall health and wellness. It also contains ConcenTrace®, a unique mineral concentrate of over 72 naturally occurring ionic trace minerals from the Great Salt Lake in Utah, which is America’s number one selling trace mineral supplement, according to SPINS® data.

"In the past few years, we’ve had tremendous success highlighting the products that are coming to market, driven by the innovative ingredients highlighted at SupplySide," said Heather Granato, vice president, content, in Informa’s Health & Nutrition Network. "Our editorial team was impressed this year at the range of products and out-of-the-box thinking that these companies are putting into product development to reach their target markets."
