This temporary immune suppression can not just increase the risk of upper respiratory tract infection (URTI), but also can hinder subsequent performance.
There are tons of immune-focused products on the market, including many natural options. However, only a handful have been researched specifically in athletes. This video will review immune function relative to sports nutrition and highlight three ingredients: methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), beta glucans and probiotics.
