Hill Pharma, Optigenex Partner to Offer New Products

FAIRFIELD, N.J.—Hill Pharma Inc. partnered with Optigenex Inc. to offer unique products for the growing sports nutrition, sports performance and weight management dietary supplement markets. The companies launched the concept at SupplySide West.

The new products are built around the Optigenex patented rainforest botanical extract, ac-11, and they principally feature Hill Pharma's organic plant-based proteins. The scientifically validated therapeutic benefits of ac-11 include enhanced energy and assistance in natural DNA repair and recovery. The addition of pea, rice, hemp and pumpkin seed-based proteins and natural sweeteners offered by Hill Pharma's advanced technology will create broad opportunities for offering differentiated products to the customers of both parties in the United States and China.

The company reported a high level of interest from its existing customers, attendees and exhibitors at SupplySide West for its sports nutrition supplement Hempeatein Pro™ with ac-11.

"Although we anticipated a positive reaction, we did not expect such an overwhelming endorsement at the show," said Charles Dong, CEO. "As we begin to gain traction with ac-11 based supplements, we foresee support from early adopters who understand its scientifically validated health benefits, including increased energy, quicker recovery times and the muscle building properties observed when using Hempeatein Pro with ac-11."

Hill Pharma Inc. has been granted the exclusive rights to develop plant based proteins incorporating Optigenx’s ac-11.

Hill Pharma’s core products include plant-based proteins, natural sweeteners, custom botanicals and standardized extracts. Company efforts in the plant protein business address opportunities in nutraceuticals, supplements, sports nutrition, foods and beverages.
