Amino Acids: The Building Blocks for Health

Amino acids provide benefits for not only sports nutrition, but immune and cognitive health, as well.

Amino acids are important for muscle health, but also play a part in immune and cognitive health. Delivery systems for amino acids include powders and ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages. However, essential amino acids—leucine, isoleucine and valine—cannot be synthesized, therefore must be supplied via the diet.
