SolbarIndustries (www.solbar.com) restructured its core business, establishing twodivisions commodities and specialtiesto streamline company activities. Thecommodity division will handle production, sales and crushing of oil andsoybeans in Israel; the specialty division will cover research and development(R&D), production, marketing and sales of Solbars isolated andconcentrated soy proteins, textured soy proteins and soy isoflavones globally.Assaf Gadish, formerly general manager of sales and logistics for the dairydivision of Strauss Dairy Ltd. (Israel), is the new general manager for theCommodities Soy division. Gidi Landsberger, who worked most recently as generalmanager of H.J. Heinz in Israel, will serve as general manager of theSpecialty Products Division.
