LONDONFrost & Sullivan awarded Phenofarm with the 2012 Europe New Product Innovation for its Phenolea® Complex. Derived from olive fruits, this extract is naturally high in antioxidants and can be added to foods and beverages.
Frost & Sullivan presents the innovation award to a company developing a novel product with cutting-edge technology and added value. Phenofarm, an Italian company, starts with olive pulp, and controls the supply chain along the way, including the use of eco-friendly membrane technology, which does not use any solvents.
Last month, Epax won the Frost & Sullivan Differentiation Excellence Award, recognizing the success of the company's concentrated EPA/DHA ingredients in an increasingly populated marine omega-3 product segment.
