MORRISTOWN, N.J.—OmniActive Insights™ will sponsor a VendorBrief session called “Curcumin: Bioavailability and Beyond" at SupplySide West 2014 in Las Vegas.
Jacob Wilson, Ph.D., CSCS*D, assistant professor, University of Tampa, will give insights during the session on Wednesday, October 8, from 2:55 to 3:20 p.m. (booth 39089).
“Curcumin is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and has been extensively studied for its role in regards to various risk factors and disease conditions," Wilson said. “The benefits of curcumin are undeniable."
During the session, Wilson will discuss the issue of poor bioavailability and will provide expert insight into the complex matter of absorption. He will also provide a side-by-side comparison along with the latest science surrounding curcumin.

In addition, the Natural Products INSIDER Education Track includes a presentation by James M. Stringham entitled “The Three Macular Carotenoids: Complementary Functions of Lutein, RR-Zeaxanthin and Meso-Zeaxanthin," which will take place on October 7 from 4 to 4:50 p.m. at Mandalay Bay South Convention Center, Level 3, in room Jasmine A.
