GARDENA, Calif.NP Nutra, a manufacturer specializing in organic and fruit ingredients, recently launched its certified organic Reishi 3:1 Extract. The new extract is available for use in capsules, tablets and powdered supplements.

Reishi is a fungus that has been used for more than 2,000 years in traditional Chinese medicine for rest, relaxing the mind, enhancing vital energy and memory function, and supporting the respiratory system. The fungus features amino acids and essential minerals such as potassium, calcium, phosphorus, selenium, iron and zinc.

Earlier in April, NP Nutra unveiled a new Organic Purple Corn ingredient for capsules, tablets, powdered supplements, and functional foods and drinks.
