MitsubishiInternational Food Ingredients (www.micusa.com) added several ingredientsuppliers to its distribution portfolio. Among the new companies Mitsubishi isdistributing for are Amano, AMT Labs, Kohjin, Nippon Meat Packers, Pharma FoodsInternational Co., Qiangjiang Yongan, Takeda-Kirin Foods and Well Able. Inaddition, Mitsubishi Kagaku Foods announced it self-affirmed its sucrose estertablet lubricants as GRAS (generally recognized as safe) for dietary supplementapplications. According to the company, the affirmation allows the use ofthe Sucrose Esters in tablet production.
