BALTIMOREFluxome rebranded its flagship resveratrol ingredient with a new name, logo and marketing strategy. The company will now promote PureVera resveratrol, a 98-percent pure trans-reveratrol. The ingredient is contaminant-, allergen- and PAH-free. Resveratrol, found in grapes, is a potent antioxidant that may protect against aging conditions. The PureVera ingredient is GRAS (generally recognized as safe)-affirmed and European Novel Foods approved.
In the beginning of October, the company's Danish branch Fluxome A/S filed for "formal reconstruction" amid rumors of bankruptcy. The company's Danish facility closed, though U.S. commercial operations continued.
