Deerland Enzymes Offers Glass Bottling

KENNESAW, Ga.—Deerland Enzymes will add glass-bottling services to its enzyme-based supplement manufacturing capabilities.

Supplement companies are always looking for better packaging options that offer flexibility and more protection for products. Glass bottles allow less oxygen and moisture to permeate compared to plastic bottles.

The bottling process begins with a “rinse" stage, which is where air is forced into the bottles at a high speed. Then, a vacuum procedure removes the air and any debris, which enhances consumer safety.

In June, Deerland Enzymes received a Natural Product Number (NPN) for its enzyme ProHydolase, allowing the company to sell its product in Canada.
