DaniscoA/S (AMSE:DNSOF) announced its financial results for the first fiscal quarter of2004 (1Q04).

The companys 1Q04 Earnings Before Interest, Taxes,Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) margin for its Ingredients and Sweetenersdivision was calculated at 15.7 percent, a 1.1 percent increase from the EBITDAmargin recorded for the same quarter the previous year (1Q03).

Sales and earnings in sugar were lower in 1Q04 than in 1Q03,which lowered the companys consolidated EBITDA margin by 0.7 percent to 13.2percent.
