Taiyo International announced the launch of SunActive Fe, a dietary iron supplement to fortify foods and beverages for infants and toddlers. SunActive Fe has high bioavailability and is recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) as an ideal iron fortificant and identified by the European Food Safety Authority as a source of iron in its approved health claims.
SunActive Fe is mild on the gastrointestinal system and has no metallic taste. It does not change the color or stability of the products it is used in and is stable against heat, salt, pH and oxidation.
