•regulations under the 1994 Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) and FDA’s enforcement of them;

•development of an authoritative list of old dietary ingredients in collaboration with FDA;

•a self-regulatory initiative spearheaded by the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN); and

•the benefits and challenges of speaking with one voice as an industry.

Lassiter will be speaking on Tuesday, Sept. 26, during a workshop at SupplySide West in Las Vegas. The workshop “Regulators & The Regulated,” will explore the Trump administration's new FTC, lawsuits and investigations brought by state attorneys general, and the benefits of self-regulatory initiatives.
