Campbell Soup Co. is recalling approximately 300 cases of Prego Traditional Italian sauce due to risk of spoilage.

WASHINGTON

Campbell Soup Co. is recalling approximately 300 cases of 24-ounce jars of Prego Traditional Italian sauce because of a risk of spoilage, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Dec. 31.

The recalled sauces were made at Campbells Paris, Texas, facility on Dec. 15, 2013, and shipped to retailer distribution centers that serve Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico and Oklahoma on Dec. 21, 2013. The affected products have the Best By" date of June 16, 2015, and a four-digit, military time code ranging from CT BJ ZV 0330" through CT BJ ZV 0449."
