ORRTANNA, Pa.Eleven people were hospitalized after a Knouse Foods' tractor trailer carrying hazardous materials caught fire on Tuesday, according to The Evening Sun.

The company suspended operations after the fire and will remain closed temporarily for cleanup and an ongoing investigation, Scott Briggs, vice president of human resources for Knouse Foods, told The Evening Sun. The company currently has no timetable for plant re-opening.

The tractor-trailer that caught fire was being used as a workspace during installation of a protective foam liner, used to restore aging wastewater systems, to a holding tank. The installation was being handled by a private company, The Evening Sun reported.

All 11 people hospitalized were treated and released on Tuesday.

Recently, Cargill's beef packing plant in Dodge City, Kan., suspended operations after a minor fire broke out in the facility. The fire started in the kill floor, and took fire crews several hours to put out.
