SupplySide West Podcast 61: Assessing FDA Regulations, Enforcement in Trump Administration

In this wide-ranging podcast interview with Josh Long, INSIDER's legal editor, attorney Stuart Pape— head of the FDA practice group with the law firm Polsinelli PC— discusses the regulatory environment under the Trump administration, a forthcoming USDA regulation to implement a law requiring the labeling of genetically engineered foods, the significance of guidance documents issued by regulatory agencies, resources at FDA’s Office of Dietary Supplement Programs, and related enforcement activity.

Pape, a former FDA lawyer, will be speaking on Thursday, Sept. 28, during a panel at SupplySide West in Las Vegas. The panel “Trump & The New Administration,” will review the implications of President Trump’s focus on fewer onerous regulations, bills pending in Congress that impact food, beverage and dietary supplement companies, and current lobbying efforts on Capitol Hill.
