PLYMOUTH, Wis.Sargento Foods, Inc., announced that Marty Rowe has been promoted to president of the companys Food Ingredients Division effective immediately. Rowe, who joined Sargento in 2004, most recently was vice president of salesstrategic channels in the Consumer Products Division.
Rowe was named sales manager of the year for the Consumer Products Division in 2006 and 2007. He and his team also were instrumental in Sargento receiving the Supplier of the Year Award from Walmart in 2007.
Marty has been a core member of our Sargento family, and his results have been a key driver of the Consumer Products Divisions success and current momentum," said Louie Gentine, CEO at Sargento. He has made significant contributions to the company over the past 10 years, and I am confident that his experience and sound leadership will guide him with continued success in this new position."
Rowe received a bachelors degree in marketing from the University of Georgia and an MBA from Mercer University.
