Deerland Enzymes, Natoli, Pharmachem, Others Launch Innovative Tools & Technologies

Deerland Enzymes, TSI and Metabolic Technologies Inc. (MTI), Natoli Engineering Co. and Pharmachem Laboratories have launched innovative technologies and tools to expand their reach in the industry.

Deerland Enzymes announced the launch of a drum packaging system aimed at reducing moisture penetration and will begin packing and shipping all of its customers’ bulk products with the advanced D3 packing system. The patented packing system is Deerland Enzymes’ DehydroDryDrum™ technology, a laminate-lined drum with an improved lid style to provide a better seal.

TSI and MTI launched their new website, which includes extensive product information on BetaATP. Shawn Baier, MTI’s chief operating officer, explained the goal of the website “is to provide a user-friendly experience with clear navigation and functionality throughout, allowing consumers to access detailed product information, scientific data, videos, athlete testimonials, and ‘where to buy’ information on this market-changing combination product."

Pharmachem Laboratories also enhanced its online presence by unveiling a downloadable Carb Counting Tool on its website for both brand marketers and consumers. The company worked with James B. LaValle, clinical pharmacist, board certified clinical nutritionist and author, to create the Carbohydrate Counting Tool as part of the Metabolic Code Diet, which also incorporates supplementation with its Phase 2 Carb Controller (white kidney bean extract). "The quality and amount of carbohydrates we eat is key for helping us manage our weight and preventing diabetes and heart disease," LaValle said. “This Carbohydrate Counting Tool helps [consumers] see how many carbohydrates you are eating on an average day."

Finally, Natoli Engineering Co. added two new metal detector models to its Tablet Compression Accessories Catalog. The CEIA Ultra High and High Sensitivity metal detectors help ensure safe, high-quality tablets. They feature high sensitivity toward contaminating metals, whether ferrous, nonferrous or stainless steel. The LE 0346 – Ultra High Sensitivity Metal Detector and the LE 0345 – High Sensitivity Metal Detector are both construction compliant with 21 CFR Parts 210 and 211 and electronic records and signatures management compliant with 21 CFR Part 11.
