WASHINGTON—The Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN) will host a market research session on supplement consumer climate Friday, Nov. 7, during its educational and networking event, The Conference: CRN’s Annual Symposium for the Dietary Supplement Industry, Nov. 5 to 8 at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, California.

The research session, “Assessing the Consumer Marketplace for Dietary Supplements: Who, What, and Where," will be presented by Maryellen Molyneaux, president and managing partner of The Natural Marketing Institute Inc. (NMI); Randi Neiner, Ph.D., director, market research for Shaklee Corporation; and Robert Sanders, executive vice president, home and health practice leader at IRI.

“Dietary supplement companies are closely watching sales and consumer buying behavior, and all eyes are on the numbers," said Judy Blatman, senior vice president, communications, CRN. “We’re fortunate to be able to tap experts from three CRN member companies to give conference attendees analysis they can use to face current challenges and help shape their business strategies."

Earlier this year, it was announced that the co-founder and president of Politico will speak at the conference.
