WILD Flavors Offers TCM-Herbal Blends

ERLANGER, Ky.—WILD Flavors introduced its new product line of TCM herbal blends based on detoxification, immunity and blood glucose management, and inspired by ancient herbology principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).
The company partnered with experts in Beijing, China, along with Subhuti Dharmananda, Ph.D. at the Institute for Tradition Medicine, to create three herbal blends. Using proprietary natural flavors and Resolver™ Technology, the company was able to create a blend of Chinese herbs that can be used in a range of applications. Such applications include teas, carbonated drinks, juices, dry beverage mixes, tablets, chews, gummies, nutritional bars and gels. The company also conducted sensory testing to optimize product taste.
The TCM blends were developed to address consumers' growing interest in holistic health and healing. The Blood Glucose Management Blend has been clinically tested to show significant decrease in blood glucose compared to a placebo. "The four ingredients have been subjects of intensive investigation into their effects on blood sugar and are combined in accordance with the TCM principles," said Dharmananda.
