Cargill, BASF to Develop Omega-3 Canola Oil

MINNEAPOLIS—Cargill and BASF Plant Science entered into an agreement to co-develop canola oil containing EPA/DHA omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. The products generated through the collaboration will address two key issues facing companies seeking to broadly deliver omega-3s to global consumers: shelf stability and cost.
