Sabinsa Expands Utah Ops

PISCATAWAY, N.J.—Sabinsa Corp. is completing the construction of a 17,000-square-foot expansion of its manufacturing and distribution facility in Payson, Utah, extending its in-house manufacturing capabilities and capacity. The new facility, which will operate as Sabinsa Manufacturing, will include cutting-edge technology and provide high-volume capacity in fluid bed processing/granulation and custom drum-to-hopper blends. Further, analytical, microbiological and pilot laboratories are being constructed to ensure product quality and consistency and facilitate product development and efficient batch scale-up. The company will also work to obtain international regulatory certifications for the manufacturing operation.

“Our new facility extends the company’s vision of being a world leader in quality, science-based ingredients by offering additional processes to help us meet increasing customer demands,” said Ed Olson, senior vice president of manufacturing. “This expansion extends our vertical integration, making us an even better resource for our clients. ”
