NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--The National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) andSanjiu Medical Pharmaceutical Ltd. have partnered to promote quality assuranceand facilitate trade in China. The result of the partnership is the newassociation NNFA-China, which has been recognized by the government of thePeople's Republic of China.Sanjiu is China's largest botanical and pharmaceutical manufacturer."The combination of NNFA's expertise in structuring and developingassociations and Sanjiu's strong presence in China will allow us to build thecritical framework for a successful trade organization," said Zhao Xinxian,chairman and president of Sanjiu Enterprise Group (the parent company of SanjiuMedical).The announcement of the new association was made during NNFA's annualconvention and trade show, held in Las Vegas June 7 to 9. NNFA noted that theagreement between Sanjiu and NNFA would support and encourage the production,marketing, research and consumption of nutritional foods, dietary supplementsand natural products.
