ILLERTISSEN, GermanyCognis (www.Cognis.com) expanded sterol ester production capacities with a 10 million euro investment at its plant in Illertissen, Germany. The new facility, located at the companys international Nutrition & Health Competence Center, is used for the production of premium grade plant sterol esters. Food manufacturers will now be able to incorporate these ingredients without any further processing.
