Balchem Acquires Loders Encapsulation Business

NEW HAMPTON, N.Y.

BalchemCorp. acquired the encapsulation and agglomeration business of IOI Group, partof Loders Croklaan. Primary operations will remain in Channahon, Ill., with someproduct manufacturing incorporated into existing Balchem operations. Accordingto the companies, the IOI Group posted $6 million in sales for the fiscal yearended June 30, 2005, and was financed with cash reserves by Balchem.
