WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.Medical journalist and author Robert E. Kowalski died suddenly in early November of a pulmonary aneurysm; he was 65. Inspired after his second bypass surgery at age 41, Kowalski delved into natural methods for supporting heart health and wrote the best-seller The 8-Week Cholesterol Cure. His ninth book, Take The Pressure Off Your Heart: 8 Weeks to Lower Blood Pressure Without Prescription Drugs, was published in early 2007. He is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
