SHANTOU, ChinaOn Aug. 20, Sirio Pharma Co. passed the on-site audit of Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA)-good manufacturing practice (GMP) certification. The Chinese contract manufacturer provides softgel, tablet and gummy dietary supplements.
The Australian government controls and issues TGA-GMP certification for medicinal products containing herbs, vitamins, minerals and nutritional supplements, in addition to homeopathic medicines and aromatherapy products. The TGA-GMP certification is recognized and accepted by more than 20 Pharmaceutical Inspection Convention and Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme members.
In May, Sirio Pharma passed FDA inspection with no observations.
