NNFA Gives Weider an A

SALT LAKE CITY--Weider Nutrition International (www.weider.com) received an "A" compliance rating in the National Nutritional Foods Association's(NNFA) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Third Party Certification Program. The NNFA GMP program involves third-party inspections and comprehensive audits of personnel, plant and grounds, sanitation, equipment, quality operations, production and process controls, as well as warehouse, distribution and post-distribution practices.

"The successful passing of these rigorous inspections and achieving an 'A,' the highest rating, is further evidence of our company's commitment to quality," said Bruce Wood, chief executive officer (CEO) of Weider. The NNFA GMP seal will appear on advertising and promotional materials for products that have been manufactured by Weider, including products under the Schiff® brand name.
