Bactolac Joins NNFA, Upgrades Capacity, Facility

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.BactolacPharmaceutical Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Advanced Nutraceuticals Inc.,joined the National Nutritional Foods Association (NNFA) in November 2005 and isin process of gaining its certification as an NNFA GMP (good manufacturingpractice)-approved manufacturer; approval is expected by early 2006.

In addition, Bactolac recently expanded its existing facilityand increased capacity. Bactolacs quality control/quality assurance labs wereexpanded, a microbiology lab is preparing to come on line, new state-of-the-artlab equipment was added, and several experienced lab personnel were hired. Thecompany also expanded its manufacturing capacity, adding more powder production,high-speed encapsulating, high-speed tabletting and blister packing equipment.Bactolac (www.bactolac.com) also purchased an additional three acres of land toprovide for possible future expansion.
