Additional Leiner Products USP Certified

CARSON, Calif.Leiner HealthProducts, a leading contract manufacturer of dietary supplements, announcedsupplements it manufactures for Albertsons (under the Equaline brand) andMcKesson (as SunMark) were awarded the USP verified mark. As part of the U.S.Pharmacopoeias (USP) Dietary Supplement Verification Program (DSVP), USPreviews ingredients and manufacturing standards and awards the USP mark ofverification.

In addition to the USP program, Leiner (www.leiner.com)announced five of its six manufacturing facilities have been approved andregistered by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as drug manufacturingfacilities. Leiner manufactures its supplements to GMPs (good manufacturingpractices) for pharmaceuticals, and also follows a HACCP (hazard analysiscritical control points) program.
