CROWLEY, La.—The Wright Group announced a joint marketing and development partnership with Granada, Spain-based Puleva Biotech to create new products and markets for omega-3 essential fatty acids (EFAs). Wright Group will create a new line of stable fish oil powders using its SuperCoat® and SMART™ microencapsulation technologies to address taste and odor issues. The products will be designed for use in conventional fortified foods, functional foods and beverages, and dietary supplement applications.Wright Group will be exclusively responsible for all sales and marketing activities for the partnership in the United States and Canada, and Puleva Biotech will handle those activities in Europe, Asia and other markets where it already has a strong presence.
